The Role
A progressive Secondary School in Nottingham is seeking a professional, highly articulate, and exceptionally organised Religious Studies & Philosophy Teacher to join their dedicated ethics faculty. You will support crisp communication with parents, visiting speakers, and external examination boards, ensuring that all essay moderation logs and student assessment profiles are processed with total accuracy. Strong administrative and organizational skills are crucial, as the role requires balancing structured philosophical debates with rigorous exam preparation within a busy secondary school framework.

Requirements
A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a degree in Philosophy, Theology, Religious Studies, or a closely related discipline
Previous experience delivering Religious Studies and Philosophy specifications up to GCSE and A-Level with strong results
Strong data literacy and IT skills, with complete confidence using digital learning tracking systems
Professional and proactive approach to monitoring student metrics and running analytical discussions
Ability to work effectively and adaptably within a fast-paced, high-achieving faculty
