A highly regarded Independent School in Chester is seeking a professional and organised School Administrator to join its dedicated support staff team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy educational environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative support. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school while providing excellent service to students, parents, staff and visitors.
You will be responsible for managing the school's reception, handling telephone and email enquiries, welcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times. You will maintain accurate student records, support admissions processes, prepare school correspondence and assist with a wide range of administrative tasks.
Working closely with teaching staff and senior leaders, you will coordinate meetings, manage diaries, maintain confidential documentation and support school events throughout the academic year. You will also assist with attendance administration, data entry and general office organisation to ensure the school office operates efficiently.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner are essential.
