CORE PURPOSE
We require an enterprising, highly driven Business Studies Teacher to deliver outstanding business, finance, and enterprise instruction across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Operating within a highly successful faith academy secondary school, the successful candidate will facilitate a dynamic, contemporary curriculum designed to foster deep corporate understanding, strategic financial analysis, and sharp entrepreneurial thinking, preparing all pupils thoroughly for terminal GCSE Business, vocational BTEC Enterprise technical awards, and linear A-Level Business public examinations.

KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS
Contemporary & Case-Led Instruction: Plan, resource, and deliver high-quality business lessons across all attainment pathways, utilizing current multinational and local case studies to demystify complex corporate structures, balance sheets, and marketing frameworks.
Vocational & Academic Qualification Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of both terminal exam content and internal coursework portfolios, managing the strict internal verification and moderation schedules required for BTEC Enterprise or Cambridge National technical folders.
Analytical Data Tracking: Guide examination cohorts systematically through the demands of multi-part GCSE and A-Level case study papers, teaching pupils how to structure high-scoring extended prose responses using precise business terminology and financial data manipulation.
Closing Progress Gaps: Identify and target learning barriers within mixed-ability cohorts, deploying structured scaffolding, business model templates, and targeted financial literacy interventions to accelerate the progress of all pupils, including those with SEND.
Values-Driven Pastoral Care: Fulfil full form tutor responsibilities within our established pastoral structure, leading morning reflections, managing daily registration, delivering character curriculum units, and maintaining proactive, supportive communication with families.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance, Management, or a closely related commercial discipline.
Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver strong progress metrics in terminal public examinations across both academic GCSE/A-Level and technical vocational enterprise pathways through structured, explicit pedagogy.
Ethical & Aspirational Mindset: An unwavering commitment to comprehensive education within a faith framework, demonstrating the clarity, adaptability, and professional energy required to inspire young people toward ambitious corporate and entrepreneurial careers.
