Site Supervisor

A successful Mixed Secondary School in Stockport is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong practical skills who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the school site, ensuring buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard and remain fully operational throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities will include opening and closing the site, conducting routine inspections, monitoring health and safety compliance, coordinating contractors and undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

You will assist with site improvement projects, support school events and examinations and help ensure all facilities remain safe and fit for purpose. The successful candidate will also work closely with senior leaders and the premises team to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Strong organisational skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work independently are essential.
