CORE PURPOSE

We require an analytical, highly driven Maths Teacher to deliver outstanding mathematics instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. • Rigorous Examination Preparation: Guide Year 11 cohorts systematically through the demands of terminal Foundation and Higher tier GCSE Mathematics papers, teaching explicit exam techniques, multistep problem-solving, and efficient non-calculator methods.

• Data-Driven Interventions: Meticulously analyse formative assessment data and mock exam scripts to pinpoint specific weaknesses, deploying immediate, targeted arithmetic and reasoning interventions to maximize grade-boundary retention.

• Community Pastoral Care: Fulfill full form tutor responsibilities within an established year group structure, managing daily registration, delivering pastoral curriculum units, and maintaining proactive, supportive communication with families.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.

• Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver strong progress metrics in terminal public GCSE examinations across both Foundation and Higher tiers through structured, explicit mathematics pedagogy.
