A respected 11-16 academy in the West Midlands is seeking a part-time History Teacher to join its Humanities team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is looking for a half-timetable role within a school that genuinely values its Humanities provision and the critical thinking skills it develops in students.
You will teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Edexcel), with an emphasis on analytical writing, evidence evaluation, and debate. The department makes active use of local historical connections and supports visits to regional museums and heritage sites. On your working days, you will also contribute to department planning meetings and collaborate with colleagues in Geography and RE on cross-curricular projects within the Humanities faculty.

Requirements
Degree in History and QTS
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 History
An analytical, discussion-based approach to teaching
