About the Role You will teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4, helping students build confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding the language. The department takes a varied approach, blending textbook study with multimedia and cultural resources.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4
Prepare students for GCSE Spanish examinations
Plan lessons that develop all four key language skills
Differentiate effectively to support learners of all abilities
Mark and assess work, providing regular feedback
Contribute to language-focused enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements
Essential
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Fluency in Spanish and confidence teaching across KS3 and KS4
Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level
Ability to engage and motivate a range of learners
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level Spanish
Ability to teach a second language (e.g. French)
Experience supporting EAL students
