Religious Education Teacher

You would be working in a successful Humanities department teaching Religious Education across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is highly regarded within the school and plays an important role in developing students' understanding of different beliefs, cultures and ethical perspectives.

Students are encouraged to think critically, debate respectfully and develop informed opinions on a range of philosophical, moral and social issues. The curriculum is broad, engaging and ambitious, covering world religions, ethics, philosophy and contemporary issues that are relevant to students' lives and wider society.

The department has a strong record of academic success and works collaboratively to ensure students of all abilities are supported and challenged effectively. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to enrichment opportunities, intervention programmes and wider school activities that promote student engagement and achievement.
