Site Supervisor
A well-established Primary School in Maidstone is seeking a dependable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong practical skills who takes pride in maintaining high standards and creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring that buildings, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard at all times. You will work closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager and external contractors to support the smooth operation of the school.
Key responsibilities will include opening and closing the school site, carrying out routine inspections, overseeing site security, undertaking minor maintenance and repairs, monitoring contractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
You will also support the preparation of school events, assist with room setups, monitor site cleanliness and help identify areas requiring maintenance or improvement. The role requires someone who can work independently, prioritise tasks effectively and respond promptly to issues as they arise.
The successful candidate will be practical, organised and committed to maintaining a positive learning environment for all members of the school community.
