Business Teaching Role in an Outstanding School
An outstanding school in Bristol is seeking to appoint an ambitious and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join its successful department from September. This is a full-time role within a high-achieving and supportive school that values enterprise, innovation, and exceptional teaching.

About the Role
You will teach Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons that inspire curiosity and commercial understanding.
Students will study areas including marketing, finance, operations, entrepreneurship, human resources, and business strategy while developing strong evaluative writing, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations, supporting students in achieving excellent outcomes and progression to higher education and business-related career pathways.
You will work collaboratively within a successful department committed to maintaining outstanding standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5
Deliver engaging and intellectually challenging lessons
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations
Assess student work and provide detailed, constructive feedback
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support enterprise, careers, and enrichment opportunities
Maintain high standards of classroom engagement and achievement

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary or sixth form level
Strong subject knowledge in Business
Ability to teach KS4 and KS5 confidently
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level Business
Experience working in an outstanding or high-achieving school
Ability to contribute to enterprise or extracurricular initiatives
Strong track record of examination success
