Librarian
An Independent School in Norwich is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Librarian to lead and develop its library provision. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about literacy, reading and supporting students in becoming confident and independent learners.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operation of the school library, ensuring it remains a welcoming, engaging and productive learning environment for students across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will oversee stock management, maintain library resources and support students with research and independent study.
Working closely with teaching staff, you will support literacy initiatives, reading programmes and curriculum projects. You will also organise author visits, book fairs, reading challenges and library events that encourage students to develop a lifelong love of reading.
The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. The school is looking for a proactive individual who can promote reading and learning throughout the wider school community.
