Data Officer
An Independent School in Oxford is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Officer to join its experienced support staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills to play a key role in supporting student achievement and school improvement through the effective management of school data systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of student, attendance, assessment and examination data across the school. Working closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams and teaching staff, you will ensure that information is accessible, reliable and used effectively to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include managing the school's Management Information System, producing reports for senior leadership, supporting assessment and reporting cycles, coordinating census returns and ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements. You will also support examination administration and assist with the development of systems that improve efficiency across the school.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and confidence working with large datasets. The ability to communicate effectively with staff and provide training where required will also be important.

Requirements
• Previous experience working with data systems
• Excellent analytical and IT skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience using SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom desirable
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
