Science Teacher

An ambitious and improving Secondary Academy in Hull is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join its dedicated team. The school is focused on raising achievement and developing a strong STEM culture.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of all abilities and contributing to curriculum development within the department.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and committed to continuous improvement in teaching practice.

This 11–16 academy in Hull is rapidly improving and has a strong focus on academic progress and behaviour standards. Staff are supported by a clear behaviour policy and strong leadership structure.

The Science department is developing quickly, with a focus on practical learning and student engagement.

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent qualification

  • Strong knowledge of Science curriculum

  • Ability to motivate and engage learners

  • Good organisational skills

  • Team-oriented approach
