KS2 Teacher Role in a Primary School
A welcoming and well-established primary school in Slough is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join its team from September. This is a full-time role within a supportive and inclusive school that values creativity, pupil wellbeing, and high-quality teaching.

About the Role
You will teach within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum while supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
The role may involve teaching in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, or Year 6, depending on experience and school needs, while ensuring pupils make strong progress in English, Mathematics, Science, and foundation subjects.
You will create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, resilience, and high expectations for learning and behaviour.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure excellent outcomes for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Teach across Key Stage 2 within the primary curriculum
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
Assess pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Contribute to wider school life and extracurricular activities
Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or during placements
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passion for pupil development and achievement
Desirable
Experience teaching Year 3–6
Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities
Experience supporting pupils with varying learning needs
