An Outstanding secondary school in Essex is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education to join its successful PE department from September 2026.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join a school where sport plays a central role in school life and where students are encouraged to participate, compete, and excel.

This large mixed secondary school educates approximately 1,400 students and has developed an excellent reputation for both academic achievement and extra-curricular provision.

The PE department is particularly strong, offering a wide range of sports, fixtures, and enrichment opportunities. Students are highly engaged and the school benefits from excellent sporting facilities.

The Role

You will teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach examination PE and contribute to a busy programme of extra-curricular sport.

The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire participation and promote healthy, active lifestyles.
