CORE PURPOSE
We require an ambitious, intellectually rigorous Business Studies Teacher to deliver high-quality macro-economic, enterprise, and corporate operational instruction across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The role involves facilitating a challenging, real-world-led curriculum that develops sophisticated market analysis, financial literacy, and corporate strategic evaluation in all pupil cohorts.
KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS
Curriculum Delivery & Academic Rigour: Plan and execute highly structured, evidence-based Business and Enterprise lessons that challenge pupils across A-Level, GCSE, and vocational BTEC/Cambridge National specifications.
Financial & Analytical Instruction: Guide pupils through corporate accounting models, profit-and-loss evaluation, cash-flow forecasting, human resource structures, and marketing mix matrices.
Examination Preparation: Guide Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 cohorts systematically through terminal examination frameworks, embedding precise data-response structures, evaluative essay methods, and retrieval practices.
Progress Monitoring: Run regular formative and summative assessment routines, utilising pupil tracking data to diagnose conceptual misconceptions and design sharp, targeted intervention sessions.
Pastoral Responsibilities: Undertake full form tutor duties, managing morning registration routines, tracking pupil attendance, and delivering the school's structured personal and social development programmes.

Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver outstanding progress metrics in terminal public examinations, particularly at Key Stage 5, through explicit, high-level instruction.
Routine Implementation: The ability to execute school behaviour policies with absolute consistency, maintaining a positive, highly focused, and strictly disciplined classroom culture.
