Teacher of Drama – Permanent Role | Hampshire | September Start

A secondary school in Hampshire is seeking a Teacher of Drama to join its Performing Arts department from September.

This role offers the opportunity to teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive department that values creativity, performance, and student participation. The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging practical lessons and contribute to the wider performing arts programme.

The Role

  • Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering practical and engaging lessons

  • Supporting school productions and enrichment activities

  • Preparing students for assessments and examinations

  • Contributing to the wider Performing Arts department

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject

  • Experience teaching Drama within UK secondary schools

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • The legal right to work in the UK
