The successful candidate will oversee the entire process from exam entries through to results days, ensuring complete compliance with JCQ regulations. The Role:
Managing the administration, logistics, and scheduling of all external and internal school examinations
Submitting accurate student exam entries to various exam boards ahead of strict deadlines
Recruiting, training, and organizing the daily timetables of external exam invigilators
Ensuring absolute compliance with JCQ rules regarding paper security and exam room setups
Overseeing the secure download, dissemination, and analysis of student results on results days
Requirements:
Applicants must have:
Previous school experience working as an Exams Officer or Senior Exams Assistant within a UK secondary school
In-depth understanding of JCQ regulations, exam board procedures, and exam scheduling logistics
High-level data management proficiency using school management systems (such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom)
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to fixed deadlines
The legal right to work in the UK
Salary:
£29,500 – £34,000 per annum (Inner London Pay Scale)
