Teacher of French & Spanish - Brent - September Start
A highly successful secondary academy in Brent is looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of MFL (French & Spanish) for a permanent position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Modern Foreign Languages department and teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school that values cultural diversity, high standards, and strong relationships with students. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and communicative lessons that help students build confidence, phonetic pronunciation skills, grammar proficiency, and an appreciation of francophone and hispanic cultures. The Role:
Teaching French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve strong linguistic outcomes
Contributing to international trips, language clinics, and extra-curricular activities
Working closely with colleagues within the Languages faculty
Requirements:
Applicants must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in French, Spanish, or a related Modern Languages discipline
Experience teaching French and/or Spanish in a UK secondary school setting up to GCSE level
Strong classroom management skills
The legal right to work in the UK
Salary:
M1 – UPS3 (Outer London Pay Scale)
