A well-regarded secondary school in Enfield is looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Design & Technology for a permanent position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Product Design and Engineering department and teach D&T across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school that values creativity, high standards, and strong relationships with students.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical lessons that help students build confidence, material processing skills, technical drawing ability, and an appreciation of modern manufacturing and design frameworks. The school has a strong commitment to vocational engineering and encourages staff to contribute to workshops and wider enrichment opportunities.

The Role:
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes
Contributing to design exhibitions, regional competitions, and extra-curricular activities
Working closely with colleagues within the Creative Arts faculty
Requirements:
Applicants must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or a related subject
Experience teaching D&T in a UK secondary school setting up to GCSE level
Strong classroom management skills
The legal right to work in the UK
Salary:
M1 – UPS3 (Outer London Pay Scale)
