An outstanding secondary school in Reading is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher from September 2026 to join a thriving and supportive department. English is a highly valued subject within the school. About the Role

You will teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.

• Foster a love of reading and develop students' confidence as writers.

• Challenge students to think critically, express ideas clearly and explore different perspectives.

• Support learners of all abilities to make excellent progress.
