The Role

• Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in performance, composition, and listening

• Supporting practical Music lessons, utilizing department mac suites and instrumental resources

• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

• Working collaboratively within a supportive Music team and engaging fully with ECT mentor sessions

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026

• A degree in Music or a related subject

• Successful placement experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice

• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress

• A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
