The Role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons

• Supporting practical Science lessons with a strong focus on safety and understanding

• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

• Working collaboratively within a supportive Science team and engaging fully with ECT mentor sessions

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026

• A degree in a Science-related subject

• Successful placement experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice

• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress

• A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
