A successful secondary academy in Plymouth is looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Business Studies for a permanent position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Social Sciences department and teach Business across GCSE, BTEC, and A-Level cohorts in a school that values enterprise, high standards, and strong relationships with students.

The Role
Teaching Business Studies across GCSE, BTEC, and A-Level
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve strong vocational and academic outcomes
Contributing to enterprise clubs, financial market simulations, and extra-curricular activities
Working closely with colleagues within the Business and Social Sciences faculty
Requirements
Applicants must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance, or a related subject
Experience teaching Business Studies in a UK secondary school setting up to A-Level
Strong classroom management skills
The legal right to work in the UK
Salary
M1 – UPS3 (Main / Upper Pay Scale)
