Salary: £22,500 – £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role:

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a background in printing, desktop publishing, or commercial administrative support to step into a rewarding educational setting. You will spend your days managing the workflow of the print room, ensuring that teachers are fully equipped with fresh learning materials for every lesson.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate complex digital copy machines, bookbinders, and large-format scanners to produce classroom resources.

• Manage a digital job logging queue, ensuring print requests are completed fairly and in line with school priorities.

• Collate, trim, and bind specialized learning booklets, student diaries, and behavioral report logs.

• Maintain a confidential environment for the production and storage of sensitive examination materials.

• Conduct basic machine maintenance, track meter readings, and report system errors to software suppliers.

• Support the school’s main office with general administrative, reception, or filing duties during lighter print cycles.

Requirements:

• Practical experience working with heavy-duty office machinery, commercial printers, or print finishing tools.

• Competency in managing digital media, adjusting PDF properties, and utilizing basic design/layout software.

• Strong organizational habits, allowing you to track dozens of ongoing printing tasks simultaneously.

• Physical capability to stand for long periods and safely lift boxes of materials.

• Commitment to safeguarding children; a full enhanced DBS check will be processed upon appointment.
