A leading secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a strategic and operationally minded School Business Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team for a permanent June start. This vital position is responsible for overseeing the school’s multi-million-pound budget, managing site operations, compliance, health and safety, and leading the administrative and support functions. The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring operational excellence and long-term financial sustainability.

Requirements * Essential: You must have direct previous school experience in a senior operational leadership or School Business Manager role within a UK setting.

A strong background in Finance, HR, or Operations (CSBM/DSBM qualifications are highly desirable).
Key Details & Benefits * Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Year contract).
Salary Range: £48,000 – £55,000 per annum (exceptional regional leadership package).
