A well-established secondary school in Walsall is seeking to appoint a Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management of the school premises. This is a full-time role within a busy and supportive school environment that values safety, organisation, and effective site management.
The site team plays a key role in ensuring the school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, well maintained, and fully operational for staff and students.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and security of the school site, ensuring all facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
The role includes supervising caretaking and cleaning operations, managing contractors, overseeing health and safety compliance, and supporting site improvement and maintenance projects.
You will work closely with senior leadership and external providers to ensure the smooth daily running of the school premises.
Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
Experience in site management, facilities, or premises management

Ability to work independently and lead a team
Desirable
Experience working in a school or education setting
Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH)
