We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic Teacher of Business and Economics on behalf of a highly successful, thriving secondary school and sixth form in the London Borough of Hounslow. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Business Studies (KS4/KS5) and Economics (KS5/A-Level).

• Equip students with a deep understanding of enterprise, market structures, macroeconomics, and global financial systems.

• Actively prepare Key Stage 5 students for external A-Level examinations, fostering strong analytical and essay-writing skills.

• Differentiate learning resources to stretch high-attaining pupils aiming for top university placements, while robustly supporting students requiring additional academic intervention.

• Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively, using data to implement targeted interventions and maximize student outcomes.

• Contribute to departmental collaboration, curriculum design, and extracurricular business challenges or enterprise initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.

• A strong degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline.

• Proven ability to deliver strong academic results, particularly at Key Stage 5 / A-Level.

• Deep subject knowledge of current UK exam board specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel).

• Strong communication, organizational skills, and a collaborative team-player mentality.
