Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS)

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Design Technology on behalf of a welcoming and community-focused secondary school in Darlington. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3/KS4).
Create a positive, structured learning environment where students feel confident using tools, modeling materials, and testing prototypes.
Differentiate learning resources to stretch high-attaining pupils while robustly supporting students with lower prior attainment or SEN requirements.
Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively, using data to inform interventions and maximize GCSE outcomes.
Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and continuous professional development sessions.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
A strong degree in a design or technology-related discipline.
Proven ability to raise attainment and inspire engagement in practical, hands-on environments.
Excellent organizational skills, a team-player mentality, and a strict adherence to safety guidelines.
