Key Responsibilities:
Teach inspiring Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, adapting pedagogy to bring abstract concepts to life.
Design interactive schemes of work that cater to a wide range of learning abilities and foster logical thinking.
Monitor student performance using formative and summative assessment loops, ensuring clear tracking toward academic targets.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Department to share resources, implement best practices, and continuously elevate teaching standards.
Maintain high standards of classroom management grounded in positive reinforcement and clear boundaries.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
An enthusiastic advocate for Mathematics with a creative edge to lesson planning.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative urban academy setting.
A deep understanding of the current UK National Curriculum and GCSE assessment criteria.
