An Outstanding secondary school in Slough is looking to appoint a Drama ECT from September 2026 to join its creative, high-achieving, and supportive Performing Arts department. This would be on a full-time and permanent basis.

The Role
You will teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 for the right candidate. Lessons should be engaging, inclusive, and challenging, encouraging students to explore performance, devising, script work, and theatre practitioners while developing both practical and theoretical understanding.
The department has a strong culture of collaboration, with teachers regularly sharing ideas, resources, and best practice. There will also be opportunities to contribute to extracurricular activities such as school productions, drama clubs, performances, workshops, competitions, and enrichment projects.
Students are well-behaved, motivated, and respond positively to teachers who are supportive, energetic, and passionate about Drama and the performing arts.
