Art Teacher – Highly Regarded Secondary School – Weymouth
An excellent and well-regarded secondary school in Weymouth is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join its successful Art department. The Role
Teaching Art & Design across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across various media, including fine art, drawing, and printmaking
Supporting practical Art lessons, encouraging creative expression alongside technical skill
Assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and assisting with portfolio development
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
Working collaboratively within a supportive Art team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject
Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
