Music Teacher – Leading Secondary School – Bath
An excellent and well-regarded secondary school in Bath is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join its successful Music department. The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in performance, composition, and listening
Supporting practical Music lessons, utilizing department mac suites and instrumental resources
Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
Contributing to curriculum planning, departmental development, and extra-curricular ensembles
Working collaboratively within a supportive Music team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a related subject
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
