1. Exemplary Instruction: Delivering high-challenge Biology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), alongside a substantial share of Key Stage 5 (A-Level) instruction.

2. Practical Leadership: Designing and executing rigorous laboratory investigations and field studies, ensuring students develop precise technical habits, accurate data handling, and a mature approach to safety.

3. Conceptual Clarity: Demystifying complex biological frameworks—from molecular genetics and biochemistry to metabolic pathways and ecosystem dynamics—making the microscopic world tangible and fascinating.

4. Data-Driven Progress: Utilising the academy’s robust tracking framework to identify learning gaps and provide targeted, actionable feedback, ensuring all students are equipped to excel in terminal examinations.

5. Enrichment Contribution: Supporting extra-curricular initiatives, such as eco-sustainability committees, medical society preparation groups, or regional science challenges, to foster a culture of professional ambition.

The Successful Candidate We are looking for a subject authority who is passionate about cultivating evidence-based thinking, ecological awareness, and intellectual curiosity. Requirements include:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong honours degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related life-science discipline.

• Proven Track Record: Evidence of delivering high-quality learning outcomes at GCSE and A-Level, with a sophisticated understanding of exam board specification requirements.

• Pedagogical Flair: The ability to communicate abstract, complex biological concepts with exceptional clarity and enthusiasm, inspiring learners of all abilities.
