Mathematics Teaching Role in a Grammar School
A grammar school in Norwich is seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within an academically ambitious environment that values high achievement, analytical thinking, and excellence in teaching and learning.

About the Role
You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that cover number, algebra, geometry, statistics, mechanics, and advanced mathematical concepts.
Students will be prepared for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations through structured teaching, targeted intervention, and regular assessment.
You will support learners across a range of abilities while challenging high-achieving students through extension and enrichment opportunities.
You will work collaboratively within the department to maintain high standards of teaching and curriculum delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Deliver lessons covering core and advanced mathematical concepts
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations
Assess student work and provide structured feedback
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Support intervention, revision, and enrichment activities
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 effectively
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Strong classroom management skills
Good organisational and communication skills
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level or Further Mathematics
Experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Ability to contribute to mathematical enrichment activities
