The Role
The successful candidate will join a vibrant Creative Arts department and will:
Deliver engaging and imaginative Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Inspire students to develop creativity, confidence, and technical artistic skills.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports learners of all abilities.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department.
Support extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, competitions, and school displays.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider creative and cross-curricular projects across the school community.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking a teacher who:
Holds, or is working towards, QTS.
Has a degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related creative subject.
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
Is committed to raising achievement and supporting student wellbeing.
Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive approach to school life.
