Core Responsibilities
Exemplary Instruction: Delivering high-challenge lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, with a focus on deep conceptual understanding in Mathematics and sophisticated literacy skills.
SATs Leadership: Orchestrating a calm, methodical, and highly effective approach to Key Stage 2 assessments, ensuring every student has the confidence to perform at their absolute best.
Advanced Literacy: Developing students' ability to produce high-level written work, focusing on nuanced vocabulary, complex grammatical structures, and creative flair.
Data-Informed Progress: Utilising the academy’s robust assessment framework to track student attainment and implement precise, impactful interventions.
Holistic Transition: Supporting the "whole child" through the transition process, fostering the resilience, independence, and leadership qualities required for success at Key Stage 3.
The Successful Candidate We are looking for a practitioner who is committed to the pursuit of educational excellence. Requirements include:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of delivering "Good" or "Outstanding" outcomes within Key Stage 2.
Curriculum Expertise: A deep understanding of the end-of-key-stage assessment frameworks and a passion for creative, research-led teaching.
Inspirational Presence: The ability to command a classroom with warmth and authority, building strong, professional relationships with students and families.
Reflective Practice: A professional who values continuous growth and is eager to share best practices within a high-performing staff team.
