Behaviour Mentor
An Outstanding secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and helping students overcome barriers to learning and personal development.
The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional behavioural, emotional or pastoral support. You will provide one-to-one and small group interventions, helping students develop positive behaviour strategies, improve engagement and build confidence within the school environment.
You will work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, safeguarding teams and parents to ensure students receive consistent and effective support. Monitoring student progress, recording interventions and contributing to behaviour improvement plans will form an important part of the role.
The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations. Strong communication skills, patience and resilience are essential, alongside a genuine commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing.
This role would suit someone with experience working with young people in schools, youth work or mentoring settings. The school offers excellent support, strong leadership and opportunities for professional development.
