Science Practitioner (Chemistry focus) | Havering | "Outstanding" Academy

A high-attaining "Outstanding" academy in Havering is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher for a full-time, permanent role. This position is ideal for a scientist who enjoys the rigour of laboratory-led learning and wants to teach in a setting where students thrive on practical investigation. You will deliver an ambitious curriculum across all Key Stages, utilising modern, high-spec facilities.

Requirements

  • Essential: Previous experience teaching Science (Chemistry specialism) at KS3 and KS4.

  • Essential: Hold QTS or a PGCE in Secondary Education.

  • Essential: Must possess the Right to Work in the UK (The school cannot provide sponsorship).

  • A tech-pro mindset with the ability to manage modern laboratory resources effectively.

Salary and Benefits

  • Full-time, permanent contract.

  • M1 – UPS3 Outer London Salary Range.

  • Benefits include a "no-email" policy after 6:00 PM and on-site fitness facilities.
