IT Technician – Innovative Secondary School – Exeter (Devon)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join an innovative secondary school in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning through effective use of technology.

The successful candidate will maintain IT systems, troubleshoot issues and provide day-to-day support to staff and students. You will also assist with IT development projects and ensure systems remain secure and efficient.

This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability and effective communication skills.

• Maintain hardware, software and network systems
• Support classroom technology
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Assist with IT upgrades and projects
• Ensure system security and compliance

• IT qualification or relevant experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• School experience (desirable)
