Teacher of French – Independent School – Cheshire

About the Role
As Teacher of French, you will teach across KS3–KS5 (depending on experience and timetable), delivering engaging lessons that build fluency, accuracy and cultural understanding. You will support pupils to:
Speak confidently through structured practice and purposeful conversation
Build secure grammar and vocabulary over time
Read and translate increasingly challenging texts
Write accurately and expressively with clear modelling and feedback
Prepare strongly for GCSE and A-Level through deliberate practice and exam technique

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
What the School is Looking For
QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Strong subject knowledge in French
Ability to teach confidently across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
High expectations and strong classroom practice
