About the Role
As ECT History Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build pupils’ historical knowledge and key disciplinary skills. You will be supported to deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
Strong historical knowledge across a range of periods and themes
Disciplinary thinking: causation, significance, change and continuity
Source analysis and interpretation through structured practice
Confident extended writing through modelling and feedback
GCSE confidence through deliberate practice and clear routines
ECT Support and Development
You will benefit from a strong ECT programme, including:
A dedicated subject mentor and regular coaching
