The Role
Teaching a broad range of physical activities across KS3 and KS4, specifically focusing on girls' PE
Delivering theoretical components of GCSE PE or BTEC Sport
Leading and coaching school teams in local and regional fixtures (Netball, Football, Athletics etc.)
Planning inclusive lessons that encourage girls of all abilities to lead healthy lifestyles
Acting as a role model to inspire confidence and participation in female sports
Contributing to the school’s vibrant extracurricular sports timetable
Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
A strong personal background in sport and a commitment to extracurricular excellence
The ability to build positive relationships with students and act as an empowering role model
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of energy and enthusiasm
