The Role

• Teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, with potential A-Level support

• Planning and delivering lessons across various media, including fine art, sculpture, and digital media

• Supporting pupils with portfolio development and examination preparation

• Promoting high standards of technical skill and conceptual development

• Encouraging confidence, independent research, and a passion for the visual arts

• Organising and contributing to school art exhibitions and community projects

• Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, or a related creative discipline

• A strong personal portfolio and a passion for artistic education

• The ability to build positive relationships with students and inspire creativity

• Excellent organisational skills and a reflective approach to teaching
