We are working with a school who are recruiting for a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer for a thriving secondary academy in Sheffield. This is a full-time, permanent position starting ASAP, ideal for an individual committed to student wellbeing and academic engagement.

The Role

• Student Welfare: Act as a key point of contact for students, providing guidance on social, emotional, and behavioural issues.

• Conflict Resolution: Lead restorative justice sessions and manage peer-to-peer relationships with humanity and professional excellence.

• Intervention: Develop individual support plans to help vulnerable learners overcome barriers and reach their highest potential.

• Liaison: Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external agencies to ensure a well-ordered and supportive environment for all.
