We are seeking a Business Studies Teacher who can connect classroom theory to the real-world economic landscape. This role involves teaching Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, where you will inspire students to analyze market trends, understand corporate structures, and develop the mindset of a successful entrepreneur.
The Department

Core Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality lessons that cover the breadth of the Business specification, including marketing, finance, operations, and human resources.
Teaching students how to interpret complex business data, from balance sheets and cash flow forecasts to market share analysis.
Preparing Year 11 and Year 13 students for their respective examinations, with a heavy emphasis on evaluative writing and application to specific case studies.
Encouraging an "entrepreneurial spirit" through extracurricular enterprise clubs and national business challenges.
Managing a classroom environment that fosters professional behavior, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.
The Successful Candidate We are looking for a teacher who is as passionate about profit-and-loss as they are about pupil progress. Requirements include:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.
A proven ability to make theoretical concepts—such as diseconomies of scale or global supply chains—relevant and exciting for young people.
A strong understanding of the current GCSE and A-Level (or vocational equivalent) assessment frameworks.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to the inclusive, community-focused ethos of our Academy.
