About the Role

As Teacher of English, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience and timetabling. You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops secure knowledge, strong literacy and exam confidence.

Your teaching will support pupils to:

• Read widely and accurately, developing comprehension and increasingly sophisticated interpretation

• Write with clarity and structure, producing well-evidenced analytical responses and purposeful extended writing

• Build vocabulary and technical accuracy, improving sentence fluency, grammar and expression over time

• Speak confidently, through structured discussion, debate and purposeful oracy routines
