The Role
The school is seeking a passionate, imaginative, and dedicated Geography Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS5. You will have the opportunity to teach both Physical and Human Geography, fostering a deep understanding of global challenges, sustainability, and geopolitical trends.
You will contribute to a dynamic department that values innovation, supporting curriculum development and delivering lessons that challenge students of all abilities. A key part of this role involves leading and supporting the school’s extensive fieldwork programme, taking advantage of the local Thames-side geography as well as organized residential trips further afield.

Person Specification
Qualified Geography Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching Geography across KS3–KS4 (KS5/A-Level experience highly desirable)
Strong subject knowledge across both Physical and Human Geography
Ability to inspire, challenge, and engage students with contemporary global issues
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to contributing to the wider school community and co-curricular life
