The Role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), with potential KS5 specialism

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons

• Supporting pupils with required practicals, ISA/required assessments, and examination preparation

• Promoting high standards of laboratory safety and technical precision

• Encouraging scientific enquiry, confidence, and independence in practical sessions

• Monitoring pupil progress and using assessment effectively to raise attainment

• Contributing to wider STEM initiatives, Science Week, and extracurricular clubs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science subject

• Experience teaching Science at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge and confident practical classroom delivery

• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress

• A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
