Pastoral Support Officer | Sheffield, Yorkshire | Secondary Academy
We are working with a secondary academy in Sheffield seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer. This is a full-time, permanent role starting ASAP, focused on the welfare and engagement of students across the school.
The Role
Student Welfare: Act as the primary point of contact for students regarding social, emotional, or behavioural concerns.
Intervention: Develop individual support plans and lead restorative justice sessions with humanity and respect.
Liaison: Work closely with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure every student reaches their highest potential.
Standards: Maintain the school’s behaviour policy with firmness and humanity to ensure a well-ordered classroom environment.
